The Portrait Drawing Open Studio
begins its fall and winter sessions on Thursday, October 19. The
Portrait Open Studio is an open studio for professional and emerging
artists, students, and anyone interested in drawing the human face.
The Portrait Drawing Open Studio is composed of a friendly, welcoming,
and very dedicated group of creative people including professional and
emerging artists, students enhancing their portfolios, and others
interested in developing their abilities to see. People work
independently and at their own level of experience. While no formal
instruction is provided, support and encouragement is given. A variety
of male and female models of different ages are booked. The Portrait
Drawing Open Studio is held every Thursday evening from 7pm to 9:30pm.
Participants bring their own drawing materials. Until the workshop
renovations are completed at the Chapel Gallery, the group
will temporarily be meeting at the Bruce Tyner Gallery
located at 760 Morrow Drive, Muskoka Falls, in Bracebridge.
