“Ed likes to think of his artistic development as a journey.
After spending years carving, wood turning, producing custom designed furniture and building/restoring wooden boats Ed began looking for a new challenge.
It was upon completing a class in pen and ink drawing that he realized that a new passion and adventure was upon him.
Many subjects for his drawings come from the natural world as well as manmade objects. He finds the challenge of rendering textures using pen and ink rewarding.
Though he continues to draw daily, Ed has begun exploring the world of print making and is now producing limited edition prints using both relief and drypoint etching.
And so the journey continues.”
