Kevin Francis

I have been designing and making functional and whimsical furniture for 20 years. Graduating from both graphic design and cabinetmaking programs I enjoy the design/build process. I use both hand and machine tools in my newest shop on the Muskoka river.
Inspired by nature, pieces should be as unique as the tree from which they came. It is a reverence for this natural material that drives me to create unique pieces that endure and enhance their environment through use. I like the challenge of addressing a basic need in an interesting way.
