I have dabbled in the arts since I was young; but family and work always took precedence. I sketched and painted, whenever time allowed and every year, I wrote a few pysanky (Ukrainian Easter Eggs)
Years ago, I managed to win “Best in Show”, for my pysanky in a juried art show in Greensboro, North Carolina.
It wasn’t until I moved to Muskoka in 2019, that I had the time and the space to indulge in the arts to my heart’s content.
I feel like a novice, at age 69; but loving every minute!
