Artist Beverley Hawksley will guide participants through the process of uncovering what a piece is trying to say and allowing that to guide the composition.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eMATERIALS\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/b\u003eA canvas and basic materials for collage will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own acrylic paints and collaging materials. Participants are also asked to bring a hard copy image or a selfie on their phone to use as a self portrait reference for this workshop.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"UTF-8\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eBeverley Hawksley is a contemporary Canadian multi-media artist based in Muskoka, Ontario, whose practice spans painting, 2D mixed media, sculpture, installation, poetry, and performance. A self-taught artist, she has been professionally active for over 20 years, exhibiting in solo and group gallery shows and as a long-time participant in the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition. Through her work, Beverley composes enigmatic narratives that force contemplation.
