Join artist Lynda Lynn for a three-hour painting workshop exploring the fundamentals of colour mixing. Learn simple, practical principles for creating vibrant, balanced colours and avoiding muddy combinations. Through guided exercises and hands-on experimentation, you’ll develop a better understanding of colour relationships, value, temperature, and saturation and learn how to apply these skills to strengthen your paintings. A lifelong artist, she studied at several institutions and was mentored by Muskoka painter Robert Emerson Everett. She is a founding director of the Muskoka School of the Arts and an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and the Ontario Society of Artists. An environmental advocate, her work also highlights the importance of healthy watersheds.
