Who is MA&C?

Muskoka Arts & Crafts, founded in 1963, is one of Ontario’s oldest and most established arts organizations. For over 60 years, we’ve brought together a vibrant community of professional artists, part-time makers, hobbyists, amateurs, patrons, and art enthusiasts—creating a dynamic space where creativity thrives and inspiration is shared. MA&C Is also know for their annual iconic summer show which attracts over 10,000 visitors each summer.

Now, we’re proud to continue that legacy in our newest downtown location at 63 Manitoba Street, Bracebridge, right in the heart of Muskoka. AUTUMN PROGRAMMING IS LIVE!

The Explore stream features introductory level workshops in a variety of mediums taught by Muskoka Arts & Crafts Artist & Maker members. Each workshop is 3 hours in length and provides background information on the medium as well as an opportunity to experiment. The workshops provide a supportive environment for trying something new or further developing pre-existing skills.

Bare Essentials, an exhibition of work by Janice Fiest and Marilyn Gargarella at MA&C On Main.

This exhibition presents a dialogue between two painters; one working in the language of non-objective, the other engaged in abstracted landscapes. Two distinct artistic voices united by a parallel intention: to explore the emotional depth of colour and texture.
