Who is MA&C?

Muskoka Arts & Crafts, founded in 1963, is one of Ontario’s oldest and most established arts organizations. For over 60 years, we’ve brought together a vibrant community of professional artists, part-time makers, hobbyists, amateurs, patrons, and art enthusiasts—creating a dynamic space where creativity thrives and inspiration is shared. MA&C Is also know for their annual iconic summer show which attracts over 10,000 visitors each summer.

Now, we’re proud to continue that legacy in our newest downtown location at 63 Manitoba Street, Bracebridge, right in the heart of Muskoka. Gilded Eden folds you into a conversation between wonder and warning.

Through luminous sculpted-paper artworks, gilded sculptures, an intimate break-up letter installation, poetry, and prose, this exhibition reminds us that Earth’s treasures are living jewels — to cherish, to protect, and to never take for granted.

Muskoka Arts & Crafts Celebrates Amateur Artists This Fall. The Bill Monk Community Hobbyists Spotlight will highlight locals who love arts & crafts for the fun of it.

The Annual Bill Monk Hobbyist Award Spotlight is here! 


We’re shining a light on artists who create purely for the love of it—just like Dr. Bill Monk, who found calm, inspiration, and stress relief through creativity.

 Who Can Be Spotlighted?
• Art Enthusiasts – admire or casually practice art
• Junior Artists – young creators just starting out

 How to Get Featured:
 1. Share a post or reel showing your art or your love of art
 2. Tag @muskokaartsandcrafts
 3. Tag TWO friends who would love this and who should also submit!

Self-nominations welcome!
