We use the order information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through our website (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). We may use your personal information to provide you with targeted news about artists in our shop or marketing communications about events and programs hosted by Muskoka Arts & Crafts that we believe may be of interest to you.

After you place an order on our website you will need to make payment for the goods or services you have ordered. In order to process your payment we use Stripe, a third party payment processor.

SECTION 6 – SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information through the Stripe payment gateway, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

The website is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on our website. If our store is acquired or merged with another company or organization, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
