Collection: Andrea Hanson

Andrea Hanson is a Sudbury Ontario based artist specializing in hand-painted nature inspired artisan jewelry, and larger artwork that feature Ontario landscapes. Andrea was introduced to acrylic landscape painting at the young age of 12, where she took adult level painting classes in Lively, Ontario with her father. 

Growing up, Andrea enjoyed camping on Manitoulin Island, exploring Killarney Provincial Park in canoes, and traveling across Canada with her family. Those memories now serve as inspiration for much of her artwork. By day, she is a registered geoscientist, which also serves as inspiration for her work.

In 2020 Andrea started her business, Art & Anne, since then she has been challenging her artistic abilities and the definition of "art" by combining three things she loves - nature, jewelry and painting, to create one-of-a-kind pieces of miniature wearable art. Now, through her artwork, her community can treasure a piece of home wherever they go.
