About

Andrea Ross has been a Skeleton Lake cottager all her life and for the
last sixteen years has lived full time on this beautiful lake. She is
primarily a Canadian landscape painter known for bold oil compositions
that explore the structure of the Muskoka, Georgian Bay and Algonquin
wilderness. With formal training from the University of Guelph, her
work emphasizes light, gesture and contrasts through impressionistic
forms. Her confident use of colour and shape conveys both the physical
and emotional impact of the natural world, offering a distinct
interpretation of the Canadian landscape. Andrea is represented by
Koyman Galleries in Ottawa, Coles Art Market in Huntsville and The
Algonquin Art Centre in Algonquin Park.
