Collection: Anne Reid

Anne Reid is a Canadian abstract expressionist and colourist based in Oakville, Ontario. Working primarily in acrylic—with occasional digital refinements for archival fine-art prints—she layers colour, gesture, and texture into contemplative compositions that invite calm and hope. Recent highlights include a solo exhibition (December 2024, 250 Merton Street, Toronto), an exhibitor table at Salt of the Earth Gathering (November 2024, Ancaster, ON), and a presentation at Catch the Fire Toronto (July 26, 2025). Her latest commission, Yellow Wood, is a statement piece installed in a Muskoka residence. Notable works also include Canada Arise (2025, original acrylic) and A River Runs Through It (commission, completed October 2024). Commissions and archival print editions are available; her work suits homes, hospitality, and contemplative spaces.
