Photography has been a passion of mine for over 25 years. After graduating with a Diploma in Professional Photography (2002) from the Western Academy of Photography, I began a rewarding and exciting career photographing people in all types of situations including, events, weddings and portraits.
My background in Fine Arts brings an understanding of how an image is successful (through composition, colours, density etc.) and combines it with the necessary technical photography skills to create stunning images.
I am an active member of the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC). In 2025, I was given the honour of having my Pomegranate still life photograph accepted into the PPOC National Image Salon Exhibition (more information on the Image Competition below).
In 2023 and 2024, I received Best in Photography at the outdoor juried exhibitions, the Riverdale ArtWalk and the ArtWalk in the Square. The awards were given for my solo exhibition, Misunderstanding Memories, featuring black & white, film photographs.
