I am a self taught artisan, continually influenced and inspired by the natural beauty of the world around us. Combining a variety of techniques my purpose is to illustrate the inherent beauty of the raw material by adding colour, shape and form. Much of the joy of doing this work is the sourcing of materials both locally and abroad. This provides the inspiration and context for presenting each piece.Trees, birds and landscapes are the common theme in most of the work. Hand crafted, these table top size trees, birds and abstract sculpture are displayed on various rocks from Ontario, PEI and abroad. Locally sourced Niagara grape also serves as both a base and focal point for the subject matter.
