Born in Toronto and now residing on Lake Vernon near Huntsville, Rick specializes in minimalist landscape photography. He has shown in galleries in Toronto, the U.S. and Europe and was named the 2024 Refocus Photo Awards find-of-the-year in the minimalist category.

His goal with his photography, whether in color or black and white, is to evoke a sense of calmness and tranquility, and use negative space as effectively as the main subject matter.
