I started drawing in my teens with a dip quill pen and nibs. Further study at college and university in drafting and watercolour helped me develop my painting skills. A trip to France and Italy led me to paint the life and architecture of Europe often including friends and family. Muskoka has given me a lifetime of wonderful landscapes to paint with varied subjects like cozy cottage life, towering white pines and of course the stately Muskoka steamships.
