Silvija Hord

Silvija’s work embodies contemporary landscapes and colourful resins. She is a visual artist working in mixed media. By using archival ink combined with acrylic paint, her pieces render towards abstraction mingled with line work. Paintings finished with a clear coat of epoxy resin have a mirror-like finish and heightened colour vibrancy. Silvija initially studied visual arts at York University. She later earned a degree in graphic arts. Silvija has exhibited in juried, solo and group shows. She goes on many classic car driving adventures exploring landscapes east and west for inspiration. Her work is held in private collections both in North and South America.
