My piece, "A House is Forever a Home" represents the eternal presence of memories throughout the course of time. The painting depicts my house, set in the future. The abundance of greenery and glowing light is symbolic of the passage of time, that highlights the beauty in change. In contrast, the objects scattered around the yard of the house hold specific memories of my childhood, reflecting how the past has shaped who I have become today.
