My piece is a multimedia artwork that represents built up stress and anxiety. This piece is full of personal details — drawn is a self-portrait of me in a seemingly anger or anxiety-induced state and in the background, my personally written writer's piece about my relation to volcanoes. I chose to highlight certain words in the written piece in order to give some aspects of its meaning, allowing for particular phrases to stand out, be seen. I also chose to put the quote “worry is a misuse of imagination” across the majority of my piece. I thought this quote would add more meaning to my piece and found it intriguing due to the fact that it’s true, worry is a misuse of imagination.
