Bubbles in the Glass of Life

The inspiration for this artwork is childhood memories. Growing up I was outside all the time going fishing and running around with my cousins. We always found something to do. I chose these images because they represent memories I have from growing up. They mean alot to me because they were all with family. I think I did my best with the image of me and my cousin sliding down the stairs in sleeping bags, when I was over for a sleepover. Something I struggled with was the water colour paint. I found the water colour would bleed together if I did not let the previous layer of paint dry. If I was able to do this artwork over again. I would have liked to use more medias. I also wish I could have used medias that were new to me or not as familiar.
