This photograph of a common Eastern bumble bee was taken in a small lavender patch in a city center. I can only imagine how ridiculous I looked to people passing by as I was sitting in the dirt, amongst the flowers, with bees buzzing all around me. Pretty fun way to spend a day if you ask me!
