The echo in time I am expressing is the day before my sister had her first chemo treatment. We were at a Van Gogh exhibit in Toronto. My sister had been staying at the Chelsea hotel for a few days. I had only gone up for the weekend and we didn't want to just sit at the hotel. We went to the exhibit and I was so worried about the next day until we got to sit in the room and watched all of the paintings go by on the screen. All of the artwork made me feel so at peace and thats what I want people to feel when they look at my artwork. I want it to be like a breath of fresh air from whatever they might be going through because thats what the moment felt like to me. I want this piece to show the amount of love I have for my sister and how proud I am of her. I hope people feel calm and a sense of relaxation when they look at what I have created.
