Childhood Memory

This piece represents an impactful childhood memory that I have. I often as a kid would watch Minecraft videos on YouTube and draw. I would draw on the floor like in this picture or on the couch or kitchen table or in my room. I loved to draw as a kid and I would do almost anything. The image I’m drawing in this picture is an image of the sky. I decided to make the sky out of crayons. I specifically chose this media to use because not many people would think you could make something good out of it. I chose to make the sky with blues and pinks to represent how colourful  my personality can be. Sky’s aren't simply just dark and blue, they have colour and life in them and that’s how I always viewed the sky as a kid and as a teenager.
