Forest Sentinel

This photograph of the gorgeous red fox was taken along Highway 60 in Algonquin Park. While I would love to be able to say I hiked deep into the backcountry to encounter this fox in a beautiful landscape, the reality is the photograph was taken on the side of Highway 60. A reminder that the most beautiful wildlife can be encountered right in our backyards. This is a cropped version of my photograph titled "Flame in the Shadows".
