The Back Roads Series is a joyful account of farmer's fields and little towns. They are often very separated from the sounds of a city or highly populated areas. I picture them as jewelled places, colourful and happy. The sky and earth are happy to communicate with each other, and family homes, dotted along the road, become part of the landscape.
