Open-Heart/Open-Mind

This painting is a declaration a vivid, unapologetic expression of queerness lived with an open heart and an unfiltered mind. It exists outside the narrow lines of the traditional love story: man and woman, black and white, fixed and defined. That binary framework that is not for everyone.

Here, I paint not what I was told love should look like, but what it feels like when you let go of the script. It’s tender. It’s electric. It’s deeply human. This is a love story, yes—but one rewritten in my own language. A language where queerness is not a side note, but the central, radiant truth.
