This photograph of a barred owl was taken on a beautiful autumn day. I was lucky to encounter it perched in such an interesting looking tree against such a colourful autumn backdrop. The pastel peach colour is the result of a combination of autumn leaves, dogwood, and the warmth of the sun during "golden hour".
