Portal to the heavens

A coin-operated viewfinder is typically used to bring distant landscapes closer. Here its upward pull offers open sky and an invitation to ponder the infinite. Yet the image also creates a subtle unease, leaving the viewer to ask if the viewfinder is, in fact, pointed in their direction. What begins as a search for something beyond becomes a moment of return, where the act of looking reveals as much about the viewer as it does the heavens.
