Precious Cargo

This photograph of a parent loon and its loonlet was taken on Deer Lake near Sundridge, Ontario. My parents took me for a boat ride around the lake in search of loons. Once we found this parent-baby duo, we stopped the boat motor and quietly floated around the loons. I captured some photos before leaving them to be. I was lucky enough to get this shot with the baby staring right at me.
