Przewalski’s Wild Horse

Horse Sculptures are created to look like cement. I wished to make them appear very strong and heavy, despite the light weight and fragility of the medium. These are hand-built with aluminum wire armature structures which are augmented with paper, foil and tape. The final cover of pulverized papier mache is allowed to completely dry before I added acrylic paint for details, and finished with varnish.
