The Great Orange Kitty

I love to create one-of-a-kind pieces on Muskoka Granite and Muskoka River rock. I had this particular River rock for some time and then one day I looked at it and I felt it wanted to be painted with a sitting cat. Not just any cat - one renown for their "character" so naturally I went with a long haired orange. This is how "The Great Orange Kitty" was born. I prepared the rock for better paint adhesion and painted it with acrylic paint. The finishing touch was the UV protective coating to help preserve the colour.
