The Muskobow

PETA - Approved Vegan design, inspired by the belief that fashion can make us feel beautiful, without harming our planet, people or animals. 

The inspiration came while sitting on the shores of Dickie Lake, a quiet, charming, spring-fed little lake in Muskoka. I came across a striking piece of driftwood and was immediately drawn to its natural colour palette, the grains, markings, and texture, refined by time and shaped by water. 

It occurred to me in that moment that what made it so captivating was everything it endured. Thrown against rocks, whittled in the mouths of beavers, weathered by nature's elements. That became the foundation of my design philosophy: to create handbags that celebrate strength, resilience, individuality and elegance.  It's the journey that makes each piece of driftwood so beautiful and unique, just as our own experiences in life shape who we become. 

True beauty isn't perfection; it's the courage and growth that lives in our own story found along the way. 

Pretty Drift will continue to be inspired by Muskoka's shorelines and landscapes around the world.  Celebrating timeless design and craftsmanship with purpose at its core.

Our mission is to create beauty that gives back. Pretty Drift donates 2% of monthly profits to a charity, beginning with "Wildlife Preservation Canada" to support our Canadian bumblebees of special concern and those on the brink of extinction.
