Watching!

This portrait has been rendered in soft pastel on Artist Quality Hahnemuhle velour. I use this special paper when I want to show the lovely dense fur on an animal. I love the beautiful green eyes on this cat. They speak volumes about her inner thoughts. The capture happened when she was watching a bird at the feeder. She was hopeful that someone would open the door so that she could pounce!
