Andrea McCallum

Andrea has been collecting rocks and pieces of nature since childhood. Her prints often emerge from these collections as her process is to carve earthly artifacts directly onto linoleum blocks. Though repetition is everywhere in nature, it’s the small quirks that are magnetic, making their way from Andrea’s hands and onto her prints. She allows her healing and artistic practices to overlap for some projects, offering the subtle senses a physical embodiment. Andrea holds an Honours Bachelor Degree in Studio Art from the University of Guelph, and a Diploma in Visual Merchandising Arts from Sheridan College in Oakville. Her work has been shown in Guelph, Kingston and Toronto, and she is a member of the Annex Art Collective in Bracebridge.
