Sylvia Kerschl

Sylvia was born in Hamilton, Ontario.
At the age of 16, Sylvia’s artistic journey took a definitive turn when she received her first paint set. Sylvia honed her skills through self-teaching and participating in numerous workshops over the years, developing a signature style that would become distinctly her own. Sylvia uses a palette knife for most of the paintings to achieve the textural and emotional quality she seeks.
Her art has received notable recognition, including being featured in Arabella magazine in 2024 and showcased in a virtual concert by New York City composer Margin Alexander in December 2023.
Sylvia’s work is currently displayed at Eclipse Gallery, Huntsville.
