My photographic career began with technical training in the early 1970’s, Faculty of Extension Camosun College and University of Alberta. Earning accreditations with The Professional Photographers of Canada, having images published & in their travelling loan collection.
I served as a director of the Muskoka Photography Club 2015–17 & am an active member. I teach privately while continuing my commercial photography, thus allowing me to continue my art. I also shoot pro bono for local charities.
My works are presently held in private collections in Canada, USA, Panama & UK.
I love lighting images to evoke emotion in the viewer. To quote Edgar Degas ” The fascinating thing, is not to show the source of light, but the effect of light.”
