Inspirational Artistry Steve Rose Artist

Raised in Toronto, Ontario & having a cottage in Muskoka gives me the opportunity to experience a wide range of topography, from stunning views of the Niagara Escarpment & rugged beauty of the Canadian Shield throughout Muskoka. Hiking & being on the water are my happy places with endless subject matter to fuel my artistic inspiration.
The process starts with rough sketches refined to the final drawing. The mediums I use are Watercolour/Ink Intense Pencils with Acrylic Ink & Charcoal Powder/Pencils to complete my landscapes. Pen & Ink used to add texture/detail to elements of the landscape & often combine mediums to complete the final piece.
