Painting has been my passion for many years. After working outside of my field of study and interest in Toronto my move to Grey County in 2000 brought me back to my first love….Art! I started a business “Paint by Design” working with interior painting and murals. Now a full-time artist and workshop teacher since 2014 I specialize in acrylic landscapes inspired by my love of nature and travel. Rural landscapes, the rock of Northern Ontario, the tall pines and cedar tree of Muskoka are all a constant source of inspiration. My summers are spent in northern Ontario painting local scenes and participating in various art shows. It is my objective that my paintings invoke feelings of peace, serenity and a sense of well-being for the viewer.
