Jen Lipski – Artist & Blacksmith

I am a Canadian Artist and Blacksmith, using wood and steel to create dynamic wildlife portraits and rustic sculptural designs from my Studio and Gallery in rural Niagara. I began my career in Toronto as a more traditional wildlife painter, but unexpectedly fell in love with the rustic natural beauty of wood and metal while studying Art at OCAD University. My passion for working with natural materials brought my work off of the canvas and into the sculptural realm, combining the timeless elegance of ironwork with the uniquely rustic qualities of pyrography and wood carving. I craft all of my artwork by hand, and within each design I seek to capture the essence of the wilderness and explore our place within it
