Nancy Epps – Nook Side Handcrafts

Our small studio aptly named “The Nook” is located in Severn. It’s the hub of our creations and our fused glass designs. While I design and create our pieces, fused glass is not a quick process and I often seek help from both my husband and sister! Our creations stem from nature inspired themes including flowers, trees, birds, bees, butterflies and others. As we plan and shape the glass, our pieces will visit our kiln multiple times. We hand cut our sheet glass, and use various forms including powdered frit, frit balls, stringers, murrine cuts, etc. Plant stakes, window hangers, ornaments, occasion cards, and much more can be found at our studio. We are also the home of the “Class of Glass” where we teach & inspire others.
