Wendy Wallace

About

Wendy Wallace is a graduate from the University of Toronto, Sheridan College, and University of Ontario. Wallace received many grants from the Ontario Arts Council and Canada Council. Wallace’s work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions and her works are in several public and private permanent collections.
I choose subjects based on my observations in the places and spaces I live, constructing compositions from experiential reality. The paintings are perceptions of change that have altered the environment, bringing to mind and revealing narratives and stories in the landscape. Overall my images encompass my experiential connections in nature, surrounding us all.
