Marilyn has been painting fo more than 30 years and feels privileged to to be part of the Muskoka art community. Her inspiration to paint comes from her love of the countryside that she has enjoyed since childhood. Her paintings are dynamic, expressive and interpretative. Primarily a landscape artist in watercolour and acrylic, Marilyn also focuses on non-objective art. This exhilarating art form allows her to paint from within, using her love of colour, creativity and knowledge of composition. Her work has been accepted in juried art shows: The Canadian McMichael Collection in Kleinburg, Ontario; North York Arts Council; Mississauga Visual Arts Show and Central Ontario Art Show. She has received several Honourable Mentions from Aurora.
