Blair is doing what he does best, defying the norm, and teaching himself his own way. Growing up in the heart of Muskoka, there has always been a deep passion and love of the wilderness and a real connection to the earth and all life within. After living in Toronto for nearly two decades, he was drawn back to Muskoka to realize his ideal life of settling down surrounded by beauty and nature.
Blair is self-taught and “painting without brushes”, using nothing but his fingers and hands to create his artwork. While he may paint wildlife, a common subject matter among many Muskoka artists, he does so with a unique and modern style that is both simple, yet bold and vibrant at the same time.
