About

I create objects that are meant for gathering, conversation and comfort. My hope is that they intrigue and engage through movement, colour and texture. Inspiration comes from the seeming randomness of the natural world, one without human presence. I like order and predictability, but I’m moved by intriguing textures and unexpected interruption of patterns. To combine those opposing feelings, I lean toward free-form texturing on a simple, straight-forward form.
