About

I paint abstractly, but my forms are often related to plant life, local landscapes, and the body. Rather than represent a singular moment or place my paintings depict the interconnectedness of things and the possibility of harmony in our relationship to the natural world.
Trained as a graphic designer and art director, I turned to painting to recharge my creative batteries. It quickly became an obsession and now I have a rigorous studio practice and exhibit regularly. I’ve developed a unique approach to abstract oil painting, leaning on my deep understanding of design and colour.
My work can be found in private collections in Canada and the US. I currently live and work in the woods outside Washago, Ontario.
