Marnie Wright’s paintings reflect the ordinary things she sees as she drives back roads or hikes with her camera in the bush, her eye drawn to the unusual marks found in nature or the industry of man. She paints in acrylics and watercolour.
Marnie has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba, after which she spent a year travelling in Europe exploring art galleries and museums.
Here in Muskoka she developed a 2-acre perennial garden that allowed her to surround herself with colour. Her garden has been featured in national gardening magazines as well as garden blogs. Check them out here.
