Wilma Antaya was introduced to the art of weaving as a member of the Kitchener-Waterloo Weavers and Spinners Guild and has been a hand weaver for over 40 years. Wilma’s “Handwoven Blankets to Treasure” have been displayed as a feature exhibit at the Amazing Clayworks Gallery in Stratford as well as the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts in Collingwood. These ” Handwoven Blankets to Treasure” and accompanying “tea towels” have been on display/sale at Kitchener’s Christkindl Market, a variety of Signature shows, Art by the River in Amherstburg and for over 10 years the Muskoka Arts and Crafts Summer Show. We look forward to your visit!
